In the past, if we want to make bootable CD, we must to make it using the diskette on our floppy disk. This way is being so hard to us where now a day, diskette becomes unexpected tool to use when CD becomes more comfortable.
Nero Burning ROM has given us straightforward with it is application which provides “file image” to make start up disk in our CD.
So this is step by step to make Bootable CD in Nero program:
1. Run your Nero Burning ROM, and in the window of new compilation select CD ROM-(Boot). I use
Nero 8 in my computer
2. On the Boot tab, select image file, and on the default position, it will forward to directory of “Program files
Nero-Nero 9-Nero Burning ROM-DosBootingimage.IMA”. If that directory is not available, after you
click image file, then you browse and find the file named DosBootingimage.IMA. This file is the emulation
3. The next step is same with the burning process, just waiting till the end process.

click image file, then you browse and find the file named DosBootingimage.IMA. This file is the emulation
or image from start up disc. Just give the checklist sign on “enable expert setting” then select New.
After burning process, you can your start up disc by restart your computer and booting from CD. One of the advantages from the bootable disc you made with Nero program is the system is able to read the NTFS partition from DOS program besides from FAT.
